At Ebensburg, take 219 South to the Windber/Scalp Level exit and follow Route 56 East into Windber. Take the Windber 12th Street exit off Route 56. Follow 14th street to the stop sign and Graham Avenue (Mimo's Pizzeria is to your left on the corner). Make a right onto Graham Avenue and make the next left. The Coal Heritage Center is on the corner of 15th and Graham Ave., directly across the street from the former Windber Fire Hall.

From the South

o Stay in right lane for 4 more signal lights to the end of 17th Street
o TURN RIGHT onto 12th Avenue
o Proceed two blocks; the Altoona Heritage Discover Center will be on your right.

From Points North
o Take US-220 / I-99 South
o Take 17th Street Exit
o Keep right at the fork in the ramp
o Merge onto 17th Street
o Stay to the right
o Pass through 9 lights - (you will pass Lowe's at the first light)
o TURN RIGHT on 12th Avenue (17th Street ends)
o Proceed two blocks to the corner of 15th St. and 12th Avenue
